Liberty Baptist is located in Rochester, Indiana. This great church has been a shining lighthouse of the Gospel and Christian growth for 40 years. Its rich history is a testimony of God’s wonderful blessing.
Pastor Joey Watts started the church in 1973 in a building on the corner of 6th and Pontiac Street. Many good men have served as pastor of Liberty Baptist Church through the years and have led the church in moving to its present location, beginning the Liberty Baptist Christian School, running buses, etc.
The Lord has blessed Liberty Baptist Church with a beautiful location on more than 9 acres of land on the edge of town, and first class facilities which include an auditorium, fellowship hall, Sunday School classes and office area.
On January 1, 2011, the church voted to call Dr. Bill McSpadden as their pastor. The Liberty Baptist Church continues to see the blessing of the God. Through the life-changing preaching, teaching, practical Christian living and exciting ministries, the church continues to reach the lost with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and see its members growing in grace.

LIBERTY CHRISTIAN SCHOOL
Liberty Baptist Christian School provides the students with a strong academic foundation in a Christian environment. Along with strong academics, we strive to instill in the students as genuine love for Christ and a desire to serve Him. We want to build character, self-discipline, respect for authority, and love for America in the heart of each child. Liberty Baptist Christian School integrates Biblical principles for daily Christian living in all aspects of our curriculum and programs.
Liberty Baptist Christian School is only available to children whose parents are members of Liberty Baptist Church or members of a church of like faith. Since we are trying to build good, well-rounded Christians, we have found that the students succeed best if the parents are part of the church. This allows for the reinforcement of those things taught to them at home, church and school.

The Bus Ministry
Adults, families and children are brought to church each week through our bus ministry. The workers and drivers on the bus routes are caring people who volunteer their time to get the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the bus riders and to show the riders the love of God. Our bus workers run their buses every Sunday morning taking people to church where they learn the Word of God.

9:30AM – Sunday School for children and Bible study for teens and adults.

10:30AM – Morning service in Auditorium for adults, teens and children with parents present. Childrens’ Church is available for children kindergarten through 6th grade.
